H13 1.2344 SKD61 hot rolled steel round bar With Diameter 12-150mm
Chromium hot-work tool steels are classified as group H steels by the AISI classification system. This series of steels start from H1 to H19.
H13 chromium hot-work steel is widely used in hot and cold work tooling applications. Due to its excellent combination of high toughness and fatigue resistance H13 is used more than any other tool steel in tooling applications.
1. Features
a. Electro slag remelting, annealing with diffusion process and ultrafining heat-treatment has good microstructua homogeneity and finer dispersed carbides.
b. High isotropy, aspect rations≥0.8
c. Good tempering performance, high toughness, high temperature strength, good thermal stability and thermal fatigue resistance.
d. Annealing hardness≤230HB,quenching hardness 51-55HRC,tempering hardness 46-50HRC

3. General Applications
Die casting, forging, extrusion and pressing dies, shear blades, sleeves, plunger and etc.
- Full hardness (52-54HRC) plastic moulds with high polishing and long lifetime requirments, such as bakelite plastic mould.
- Lead,Zn and Al alloy die casting moulds, such as engine radiater, lights and other decorative products
- Aluminum extruded moulds, such as aluminum window frame, computer radiater.
- Hot forging moulds, such as auto connecting rods, crank, stainless dinner knife.
- Cu alloy extruded and die casting moulds.
